Central District (Khoy County)

The Central District of Khoy County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان خوی) is a district (bakhsh) in Khoy County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 260,854, in 62,805 families.[1] The District has two cities: Khoy and Firuraq. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Dizaj Rural District, Firuraq Rural District, Gowharan Rural District, Qarah Su Rural District, and Rahal Rural District.
