Roger Bernard Handberg III is an American lawyer who is the nominee to serve as United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida.
Education
Handberg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1991 and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1994.[1]
Career
From 1994 to 1999, Handberg worked as an associate at King & Spalding in Atlanta. From 1999 to 2002, he served as a senior assistant attorney general in the Florida Attorney General's Office. Handberg served as an assistant United States attorney for the Middle District of Florida from 2002 to 2021. He was appointed acting United States attorney in 2021. President Joe Biden nominated Handberg to become the next U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida on September 15, 2022. [2]
