Liběchov (Czech pronunciation: [ˈlɪbjɛxof]; German: Liboch) is a town in Mělník District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,100 inhabitants.

Administrative parts

The village of Ješovice is an administrative part of Liběchov.

Geography

Liběchov is located about 2 kilometres (1 mi) north of Mělník and 33 kilometres (21 mi) north of Prague. It lies on right bank of the Elbe River.

Sights

Near Liběchov is Klácelka, an artificial cave featuring large sculptures by Václav Levý.
