Japan Landa Imphal (Japanese: 日本の戦争でインパール, romanized: Nihon no sensō de inpāru, English: Imphal in the Japanese war[1]) is a 2012 Indian Meitei language WWII historical romantic fiction film. It was produced by Chandam Shyamcharan.[2][3][4] The storyline is based on the romance between a Meitei girl and a Japanese soldier during the Battle of Imphal of 1944, a World War II event in Manipur.[4][1]
