Yermak Point

Yermak Point (70°6′S 160°41′E / 70.100°S 160.683°E / -70.100; 160.683Coordinates: 70°6′S 160°41′E / 70.100°S 160.683°E / -70.100; 160.683) is a coastal point in the west part of Rennick Bay, 25 miles (40 km) west-northwest of Znamenskiy Island, Antarctica. It was named by the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1958) after the Soviet icebreaker Yermak.
