Western Alliance Bancorporation is a U.S. regional bank holding company providing retail banking, commercial banking, real estate lending, private banking, and specialized financial services. It is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The company is ranked 11th on the Forbes list of America's Best Banks 2022.[3] Western Alliance is 51st on the list of largest banks in the United States.
The company's banking subsidiaries include Alliance Association Bank, a commercial bank specializing in homeowner associations in Arizona; Alliance Bank of Arizona, a retail bank located across the state; Bank of Nevada, a retail bank in the greater Las Vegas area; Bridge Bank, a commercial bank in the San Francisco Bay Area with loan production offices in nine states; First Independent Bank, a retail bank in western Nevada, and Torrey Pines Bank, a retail bank in Southern California. Western Alliance also operates AmeriHome Mortgage, a mortgage loan company.
History
Founded in 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada,[1] its headquarters moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2010.[4]
