Waqt Ki Deewar (transl. The Wall of Time) is a 1981 Indian Hindi-language action film, produced by T.C. Dewan under the Modern Pictures banner and directed by Ravi Tandon. It stars Sanjeev Kumar, Jeetendra, Sulakshana Pandit, Neetu Singh in lead roles and music composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal.
Plot
The film begins in a village where Thakur Ranveer Singh a savage, oppresses the public. At the same, Kedarnath is a noble person who cares for them. Ranveer lusts his daughter Sarala and molests which leads to her death. Apart from this, he entraps Kedarnath in crime and jails. Next, his infant children Vikram & Munna are left alone. Further, fate divides the siblings. Years roll by, and out of hunger, Vikram turns as notorious whereas Munna is reared by an amicable truck driver Sher Khan as Amar Khan. Ongoing finds their love interest Priya & Soni respectively. Now Ranveer acquires the summits in the netherworld realizing the caliber of Vikram he appoints him as his white knight. Once, in an attack, Vikram is saved by Amar and they befriend them. Then, Ranveer divulges to Vikram his past sacrilege of antique jewelry by his henchmen Ramlal, father of Soni, and hid before death but its whereabouts are not known. In tandem, Amar also learns about it through Soni and tracks forwarding to the government. The two break the mystery when Amar figures out Vikram is a criminal and surrenders when animosity arouses between the two. In jail, Vikram is acquainted with his father Kedarnath. Nevertheless, recognizing him Vikram stands behind him. At a juncture, Ranveer’s old stooge Anokhilal is saved by Sher Khan when detecting Amar as Kedarnath’s son he extorts Ranveer. Meanwhile, Vikram releases when Ranveer gives him a warm welcome which he denies and affirms the status quo. Thus, Ranveer identifies him as the second enemy, so, he creates a rift between the siblings. Moreover, he backstabs Anokhilal and seizes Kedarnath soon after his release. Before dying, Anokhilal narrates the truth to Sher Khan who rushes and bars the battle between the brothers by sacrificing his life. At last, Vikram & Amar ceases Ranveer and safeguards their father. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriages of Vikram & Priya and Amar & Soni.
