Usage

This template is intended to be placed on a user talk page to warn contributors of an article that the article has been proposed to be merged into another article.

To use, append {{subst:mergenote|Name of nominated page}} to a user talk page; a section heading will be automatically created.

If using this template on a Project Talk page, add named parameter wp=yes to replace the phrase "that you have been involved in editing" with "which may be of interest to members of this project".
