Sir Syed Ali Imam, KCSI (11 February 1869 – 31 October 1932), also known as Sir Saiyid Ali Imam, was an Indian lawyer and political figure who served as Prime Minister of Hyderabad State.[1][2]
The son of Nawab Syed Imdad Imam and the brother of Syed Hasan Imam, he was called to the English bar by the Middle Temple in 1890.[3][4] He was Law member of the Imperial Legislative Council and judge of Patna High Court. Imam served as President of Muslim League. He was knighted 1908.[5] He offered to made Delhi, the National capital.[6] His tomb is at Kokar Chowk in Hazaribagh road.[6][7][8][9][10]
