The South Pacific is the Southern Hemisphere portion of the Pacific Ocean, Earth's largest oceanic division, and which includes several islands and archipelagos. It is home to large portions of Oceania (which includes Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia) and Maritime Southeast Asia.
