Salah Ahmed Jama (Somali: Saalax Axmed Jaamac, Arabic: صالح احمد جامع) is a Somali politician and the Vice President of Somalia of the Federal Republic of Somalia.[1] He hails from the Musa Ismail Habar Yoonis
Career
Salah studied political science and international development at Canada's Carleton University.[2] He has previously held the positions of minister of labour and social affairs and minister of constitutional affairs. In June 2022 he was sworn in as an MP of Somalia's 11th Parliament representing the Erigavo constituency. In August 2022 he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia.[3]
