Ryota Nakamura (中村 亮太, Nakamura Ryota, born May 18, 1998) is a Japanese professional baseball Pitcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball.

Professional career

On October 26, 2020, Nakamura was drafted as a developmental squad player (Ja:育成選手制度 (日本プロ野球)) by the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks in the 2020 Nippon Professional Baseball draft.[1][2]

In 2021 season, he played in the Western League of NPB's minor leagues and informal matches against Shikoku Island League Plus's teams and amateur baseball teams.

On July 2, 2022, Nakamura signed a 6.5 million yen contract as a registered player under management. (Ja:支配下選手登録) [3] On July 7, he pitched his debut game against the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles as a relief pitcher.[4]
