Otranto is a census-designated place[2] located in Otranto Township in northwestern portion of Mitchell County in the state of Iowa. As of the 2010 census the population was 27.[3]
Otranto is located along the Cedar River, approximately 4 miles (6 km) southwest of the community of Mona.
