Rašić in 2019

Nenad Rašić (Serbian: Ненад Рашић, Albanian: Nenad Rashiq; born 1973) is a Kosovo Serb politician who served as the minister of labor and social welfare of Kosovo[a] from 2007 to 2014.[1] He was one of the founders of the Independent Liberal Party and its member until his removal from the party in 2013 and is currently the president of the Progressive Democratic Party.[2]

On 22 February 2021, Rašić's teenage son was beaten up in his high school in Laplje Selo, with Albin Kurti calling this incident an "attack against Nenad Rašić".[3]

Notes

a.   ^ The political status of Kosovo is disputed. Having unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008, Kosovo is formally recognised as an independent state by 100 UN member states (with another 13 states recognising it at some point but then withdrawing their recognition) and 93 states not recognizing it, while Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory.
