Musa Nuri Esfandiari (Persian: موسی نوری اسفندیاری; born 1896 – death 1972[citation needed]) was an Iranian diplomat and served as foreign minister and as ambassador during the Pahlavi era.[1]
Ambassador Nuri Esfandiari is my great uncle through Nowrasteh family. We were together in Milan in 1971 when his son Ali was Consul in Milan. I asked him about his time as Ambassador to Berlin and his visits with Hitler. I asked him if Hitler was a charismatic personality and he said yes.
He also told me a great story how he left Russia while in school in St Petersburg during the Revolution in 1917 with my grandfather Badi-Massoud. They were on the same boat on Caspian Sea.
