Matías Gastón Castro (born 18 December 1991) is an Argentine-Chilean^[1] professional footballer who plays as a striker for Uruguayan club Montevideo Wanderers.

Career

On 2021, he joined Colombian club Independiente de Santa Fe.^[2] In 2022, he moved to Jordanian club Al-Wehdat.^[3] On second half 2022, he returned to South America and signed with Montevideo Wanderers.^[4]

Personal life

He holds dual nationality: Argentine-Chilean. On 2017, he acquired the Chilean nationality by descent according to the Chilean law, due to the fact that his paternal grandfather is Chilean.^[1]
