Masanori Morita (森田まさのり, Morita Masanori) is a Japanese manga artist who is responsible for creating the manga series Rokudenashi Blues and Rookies. Rokudenashi Blues was made into a live action movie. At the beginning of Masanori's career he was an assistant of Tetsuo Hara on Hokuto no Ken.
His name is similar to the main character of Takeshi Obata and Tsugumi Ohba's manga, Bakuman. The character's name is Mashiro Moritaka, and like his namesake, Morita made his debut while still in high school.
