Malo Konare (Bulgarian: Мало Конаре) is a village in Pazardzhik Municipality, Pazardzhik Province, southern Bulgaria. As of 2006[update] it has 4,677 inhabitants, which places it among the largest villages in Thrace.
It is located at altitude of 205 metres above the sea level, 8 km (5.0 mi) to the east of Pazardzhik in a fertile plain. Agriculture is the main occupation for the population. The main products are cereals, rice, vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, watermelons, potatoes, cabbages, beans), orchards, grapes. Livestock breeding is also well-developed, including mainly cattle, pigs, poultry. The village has a kindergarten, school, chitalishte and library with more than 14,000 books. There is a church "Sv. Atanasii" built in 1802. The ruins of an ancient Thracian town are 2 km (1.2 mi) to the east.
