This is a list of electricity-generating power stations in the U.S. state of Ohio, sorted by type and name. In 2019, Ohio had a total summer capacity of 28,464 MW and a net generation of 120,001 MWh.[2] The corresponding electrical energy generation mix was 43.3% natural gas, 39.6% coal and petroleum coke, 14.3% nuclear, 1.7% wind, 0.6% biomass, 0.3% hydroelectric, 0.1% solar, and 0.1% petroleum.[1]
