This is a list of mosques in Africa.

Built in the 7th century in Negash, the mosque in Negash, by tradition burial site of several followers of Mohammad who, during his lifetime, fled to the Aksumite Kingdom to escape persecution in Mecca.[1] It was recently renovated by TIKA, a Turkish cooperation organization.[2]
