Leptonectes is a genus of ichthyosaur that lived in the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic (Rhaetian - Pliensbachian). Fossils have been found in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom.^[3]^[4]^[5]^[6]
