Kozlovia is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Apiaceae.[1]
Its native range is Afghanistan to Central Asia and Pakistan. It is also found in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.[1]
The genus name of Kozlovia is in honour of Pyotr Kozlov (1863–1935), a Russian and Soviet traveller and explorer who continued the studies of Nikolai Przhevalsky in Mongolia and Tibet.[2] It was first described and published in Trudy Imp. S.-Peterburgsk. Bot. Sada Vol.23 on page 146 in 1904.[1]
