Kahak County

Kahak County (Persian: شهرستان کهک; formerly Nofel Loshato District) is a county (shahrestan) in Qom Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 14,621, in 4,194 families.[1] The county has one city: Kahak. The county was named after Neauphle-le-Château, where Ayatollah Khomeini spent his exile in France. It separated from Qom county and gained county status on May 10, 2021.
