Joseph Adam Sevario III (born September 18, 1944)[3] is an American politician.[4][5][6] He served as a Democratic member for the 18th district of the Louisiana State Senate.[7]
Sevario was the son of Joseph Adam Sevario Jr. and Audrey Cannon.[1] He had two brothers and three sisters. In 1976, Sevario won the election for the 18th district of the Louisiana State Senate.[7] He succeeded politician, Ralph Falsetta.[7] In 1994, Sevario was succeeded by Louis Lambert for the 18th district.[7] While serving in office, he served as a candidate for the 8th congressional district of Louisiana of the United States House of Representatives,[8][9] in which he had failed to win.[10]
At the Louisiana Highway 932, the Joe Sevario Road was named after him. The road has considered improvements in 2021.[11]
