Jersey Township is one of eleven townships in Jersey County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 10,165 and it contained 4,398 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 47.02 square miles (121.8 km2), of which 47 square miles (120 km2) (or 99.96%) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.052 km2) (or 0.04%) is water.[2]
