Jerome Austin "The Governor" Browne (born February 13, 1966) is a former Major League Baseball second baseman.[1] He played from 1986 to 1995. He also worked as hitting coach for the Syracuse Chiefs.[2]

Browne's best season was 1989, when he batted .299 for the Cleveland Indians with 31 doubles and 14 stolen bases.
