Plot

Ahaan is a disciplined person who believes in hard work, whereas Ishqi comes from a humble background and is free-spirited. While the former wants a partner who upholds his family values, the latter wants someone who values love. When the two meet for the first time, disaster ensues, and Ahaan gets Ishqi arrested, with her losing her job. This leads to both Ahaan and Ishqi fighting and disliking each other a lot.

However, Ishqi's fiancée Mayank is Ahaan's best friend. Ishqi and Mayank, along with Sonu and her fiancé Raj, are having a double wedding. Mayank is Sonu's ex-boyfriend and plans to fake his marriage with Ishqi in an attempt to make Sonu jealous and get her back in his life. With multiple love troubles going on, Ahaan and Ishqi begin to develop a soft spot for each other.

During the day of the double marriage, Ishqi finds out that Mayank molested Sonu. Ishqi calls off her wedding. The misunderstanding ends up separating Ahaan and Ishqi. After six months have passed, Ishqi has started working as a waitress. While she dislikes Ahaan after the incident, she still imagines herself with him. Meanwhile, Ahaan and his fiancée Rhea are preparing to wed. Their engagement ceremony takes place at the resort where Ishqi works.

After Ahaan and Rhea get engaged, it is revealed that Rhea is pregnant. Mayank shows up intending to harm Sonu, but Ishqi saves her. While Ishqi and Mayank are talking about past events, Ahaan learns the truth of the whole situation, and realizes that he is in love with Ishqi and says that he cannot marry Rhea.

Ishqi and and Ahaan end up marrying each other, and the show ends on a happy note.

The pandemic's second wave delayed the shoot in mid-April 2021.[8][9] The cast and crew relocated to Daman and Diu. They came back and resumed shooting in Mumbai in the start of July 2021.[10]
