Fourth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies

The Fourth Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies was undertaken in the United Kingdom between 1991 and 1995 by the Boundary Commissions.[1] This resulted in changes to constituency boundaries, although the total number of seats remained at 650 as in the Third Periodic Review. 138 new constituencies were created. The new boundaries were first used for the 1997 general election.
