The four-toed rice tenrec (Oryzorictes tetradactylus) is a species of mammal in the family Tenrecidae. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, subtropical or tropical high-elevation shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and swamps.[2] it’s a rare species with no photos of it and only handful of bones remain as it is a burrowing mammal it is likely there will be no photos taken of this species
