Fault Bluff (79°18′S 157°40′E / 79.300°S 157.667°E / -79.300; 157.667Coordinates: 79°18′S 157°40′E / 79.300°S 157.667°E / -79.300; 157.667) is a notable rock bluff, 2,320 metres (7,600 ft) high, situated 9 nautical miles (17 km) northeast of Mount Longhurst in the Cook Mountains of Antarctica. The feature was visited in the 1957–58 season by members of the Darwin Glacier Party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, 1956–58. They applied the name which presumably refers to a geological fault at the bluff.[1]
