"Deeper Than the Night" is a song recorded by British-Australian singer Olivia Newton-John for her tenth studio album, Totally Hot (1978). Written by Tom Snow and Johnny Vastano, and produced by John Farrar, the song was released as the second single from Totally Hot in April 1979, following the top-ten hit "A Little More Love".
In the United States, "Deeper Than the Night" reached its peak position of number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100 on the issue dated June 9, 1979, and peaked at number four on the Adult Contemporary chart. In Canada, it reached number 18 on the RPM Top Singles chart and number seven on the Adult Contemporary chart. The single was also a modest hit in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
