Deedar-E-Yaar is a 1982 Hindi-language romance film, produced by Prasan Kapoor under the Tirupati Pictures Enterprises banner and directed by Harnam Singh Rawail. It stars Jeetendra, Rishi Kapoor, Rekha, Tina Munim and music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.
Plot
The film begins at Lucknow where Nawab Akhtar Nawaz Khan is the honorable riches of the town. Once he protects the integrity of a courtesan Husna when she adores him. Later, Akhtar discovers that his sister Nasima's husband Nawab Jahangir is enticed toward Husna. So, he approaches her to sidestep Jahangir which she accepts on a mutual consist to visit her house every evening and he agrees to do so. Here, Jahangir begrudges and seeks to kill Akhtar when he is rescued by a wise person Javed Syed Ali Khan and they befriend him. Javed loves the beau Firdous Changezi which is denied by her father Nawab Mirza Firad Ali Changezi because of a sullied in Javed's family. In tandem, Akhtar also falls for Firdous at first sight which she too gazes but quiets. Now learns Javed’s turbulence when he moves a pawn as an unbeknownst to marry Firdous and divorce as a taint. Therefore, Changezi is compelled to knit with his friend. Afterward, Akhtar announces his wedding to Husna when she gives a warm send-off with a brave heart. Soon after the espousal, Akhtar realizes the truth when Firdous is taken aback. Thus, he breaks his word and affirms the status quo to Javed when their friendship is unable to withstand the strain. Devastated Akhtar reaches Husna, and by that time, she commits suicide. However, Akhtar as an illusion bursts out his pain in her soul. Overhearing it, Javed decides to sacrifice and also convinces Firdous. Recognizing his friend's eminence Akhtar relieves Firdous from his prison. Nevertheless, Javed refuses to accept her. At last, Akhtar shoots himself by uniting Javed & Firdous. Finally, the movie ends with Akhtar & Husna meeting in heaven and proclaiming their love is immortal.
