Dasyatis marmorata, the marbled stingray, is a species of stingray in the family Dasyatidae. It is found[1] in the coastal waters of the Southern Mediterranean sea from Adana bay, Mersin bay, Iskenderun Bay, and in the Gulf of Antalya and around the Eastern Mediterranean sea at the Maliakos gulf. This bottom-dweller generally inhabits sandy or muddy flats near rocky reefs and kelp forests, to a depth of 50 m (164 ft).
