Crawdaddy is an album by The Darling Buds.[3] It was released on Epic Records in 1990 and contains the singles "Tiny Machine" and "Crystal Clear".

The album's sound was more accomplished than on the band's debut album Pop Said.... The arrangements were lush, and with tracks like "Tiny Machine" clocking in at just under six minutes, the song lengths were relatively epic compared to the two-minute average on Pop Said....

Critical reception[edit]

Trouser Press wrote: "Some now-tired Blondie-isms remain, but this fine sophomore effort is mostly a forward-looking, groove-heavy delight."[4] The Tampa Bay Times called it "full of swirly, danceable melodies and infectious drumbeats."[5] Spin deemed it "guitar-driven girl pop at its very finest."[6]
