Central District (Shahr-e Kord County)

The Central District of Shahrekord County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شهرکرد) is a district (bakhsh) in Shahrekord County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 224,380, in 56,777 families.[1] The District has six cities: Shahrekord, Farrokh Shahr, Hafshejan, Kian, Taqanak, and Nafech. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Howmeh Rural District and Taqanak Rural District.
