Central District (Mianeh County)

The Central District of Mianeh County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان میانه) is a district (bakhsh) in Mianeh County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 126,668, in 31,418 families.[1] The district has two cities: Mianeh and Achachi. The district has seven rural districts (dehestan): Garmeh-ye Jonubi Rural District, Kolah Boz-e Gharbi Rural District, Kolah Boz-e Sharqi Rural District, Owch Tappeh-ye Sharqi Rural District, Qaflankuh-e Gharbi Rural District, Qezel Uzan Rural District, and Sheykhdarabad Rural District.
