The Central District of Hashtrud County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان هشترود) is a district (bakhsh) in Hashtrud County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 45,982, in 10,428 families.[1] The District has one city: Hashtrud. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Aliabad Rural District, Charuymaq-e Shomalesharqi Rural District, Kuhsar Rural District, Qaranqu Rural District, and Soluk Rural District.
