• If the image is sufficiently old, that its creators died before 1924, consider replacing the {{PD-Australia}} tag with {{PD-old-100}}.
• If an image here was published before 1923, then the {{PD-Australia}} copyright tag should be amended to read {{PD-Australia|commons}}, and {{PD-1923}} should be added.
• If an image here satisfies the conditions in {{PD-US-unpublished}}, then the {{PD-Australia}} copyright tag should be amended to read {{PD-Australia|commons}}, and {{PD-US-unpublished}} should be added.

• If an image here was NOT in the PD in Australia as of the URAA date (1 January 1996), and doesn't satisfy {{PD-1923}} or {{PD-US-unpublished}}, then the US copyright has been restored and the image should be amended to read {{PD-Australia|restored}}, an appropriate non-free license tag and non-free use rationale should also be provided.
