Use of the |origintime=
parameter in Template:Infobox earthquake is deprecated, as it has been used ambiguously. All such instances should be replaced with the |timestamp=
parameter, with the "origin time" (as identified in some catalogs) of the earthquake in 'yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss' format. (Seconds – "ss" – is optional; "UTC" is implicit.) For historical earthquakes (pre 1900; include |pre-1900=yes
) the format is relaxed, but should be at least 'yyyy-mm-dd'.
