Blue Icefalls

The Blue Icefalls (64°54′S 62°20′W / 64.900°S 62.333°W / -64.900; -62.333Coordinates: 64°54′S 62°20′W / 64.900°S 62.333°W / -64.900; -62.333) are steep icefalls of blue ice on the west margin of Forbidden Plateau, Danco Coast. They are 4 nautical miles (7 km) long, and overlook the easternmost cove of Andvord Bay. They were named by the Polish Antarctic Expedition in about 1995.[1]
