Apex is an unincorporated community in Lincoln County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1]

History

A post office called Apex was established in 1880, and remained in operation until 1941.[2] The community was named by postal officials.[3] It was formerly a station on the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad, but Apex got abandoned. There is nothing remaining in apex other than a store.[4]
