Aap Ke Deewane (transl. Crazy for You) is a 1980 Indian Hindi-language romance film, produced by Vimal Kumar under the Film Krafts banner, presented by Rakesh Roshan and directed by Surendera Mohan. It stars Rishi Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan and Tina Munim, while Jeetendra has given a guest appearance and the music was composed by Rajesh Roshan.

The film is Rakesh Roshan's first attempt at production, going forward he produced and directed films. Rishi Kapoor and Jeetendra being off-screen friends of his, he had a song put in to ensure that the three get together on screen too, as Jeetendra did not have a role in the film and is present only in the song.

Rakesh Roshan's son Hrithik Roshan, who was six years old at the time of filming the movie, appears briefly in Aap Ke Deewane as the child-version of the character otherwise played by his father, sharing his tricycle with another child on a beach.

Plot

The film begins with two inseparable bosom friends Ram & Rahim who are self-starters and meritorious students in the college. It begrudges their fellow collegian Kundan a reprobate, so, he conspires and rusticated Ram. The next angered Rahim strikes Kundan hard and as least of Police they flee from the city. At present, they reach Srinagar where two wealthy fine folks retired SP Inshallah Khan & Colonel Thakur Vikramjit Singh always compete in the love of their dear foster daughter Sameera and also challenge a funny case regarding her surname. Exploiting it, Ram & Rahim join as tutors to Sameera in 50 years of disguise and as unbeknownst. Later, re-enters as their children when Vikramjit Singh & Inshallah Khan plan individually to knit Sameera with them. Now the three befriends and both love her. Despite, being aware of actuality regarding the friendship and play of Ram & Rahim Sameera maintains silence because of their honesty. After that, both assume that she likes the other hence each decides to side away, then Sameera declares Ram as her beau. Parallelly, avenged Kundan knows the whereabouts of Ram & Rahim and abducts Sameera. At last, they rescue her and cease Kundan in which Rahim is severely injured but recovers. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ram & Sameera and the 3 mates continue their friendship.

Mohammed Rafi sang all the songs of the movie besides Kishore Kumar, Amit Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. In this movie, Mohammed Rafi did playback for all the heroes - Rishi Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan and Jeetendra in three different songs. Lyrics by Anand Bakshi.
