The 2024 Colorado House of Representatives elections will take place on November 5, 2024, with the primaries being held on June 25, 2024.[1]

Background

At the previous election in 2022, the Democratic Party increased their majority by 5 seats with a total of 46 seats compared to the 19 seats held by the Republican Party.[2]

Retiring incumbents

Representatives who have served four consecutive terms are not eligible for re-election. For terms to be considered non-consecutive, there needs to be a gap of at least four years between them.[3]: 2
