The 2022 Texas Bowl is a college football bowl game that is scheduled to be played on December 28, 2022, at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The sixteenth annual Texas Bowl, the game will feature teams from the Big 12 Conference and the Southeastern Conference. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. CST and will air on ESPN.[1] It will be one of the 2022–23 bowl games concluding the 2022 FBS football season. Sponsored by tax preparation software company TaxAct, the game will be officially known as the TaxAct Texas Bowl.
