The 2022 Jacksonville State Gamecocks football team represents Jacksonville State University in the 2022 NCAA Division I FCS football season. They are led by first-year head coach Rich Rodriguez and play their home games at Burgess–Snow Field at JSU Stadium in Jacksonville, Alabama. The Gamecocks compete in the ASUN Conference after the ASUN added football, scheduled for 2022.[1]

On November 5, 2021, Jacksonsville State announced that this will be the last season for the team in the ASUN (FCS) and join the Conference USA (FBS) on July 1, 2023.
