The Wyoming Department of Education is the state education agency of Wyoming. It is headquartered on the second floor of the Hathaway Building in Cheyenne.[1] The agency has offices in Laramie and Riverton.[2]
The Department was most recently under the leadership of the Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow until her January, 2022 to accept the post of Superintendent of the Virginia Department of Education.
The department manages the Wyoming Community College Commission, a network of public community colleges.[3]
