I have arrived.

Interesting encyclopedia. — EdSmithton (talk) 12:21, 26 February 2024 (AST)

Upgrade user rights

Ed, it appears autoconfirmed is something that gets done after so many edits within a time frame, so I granted you editor & IP exemption instead. Hope that helps. Justme 💬 📧 11:48, 28 February 2024 (AST)

Will let you know if I get tripped-up or have any issues. Thx for the upgrade. There is a mountain of work that needs doing, and I'm happy to help when time permits. — EdSmithton (talk) 12:06, 28 February 2024 (AST)

Draft:Assassination attempt of Donald Trump (2024)‎

Not sure if you're aware of it yet, but there's already the Attempted assassination of Donald Trump which covers the same topic. Happy editing!— Ron Merkle (talk) 05:18, 23 August 2024 (AST)

Thx, Ron - but yeah, I'm aware. Like most WP articles, that forked article is long, poorly written, full of guess-work, and outdated. I started a new one in draft with a different title, and different everything else, and now I'm waiting for new developments so the article will be encyclopedic with staying power, otherwise we look like CNN breaking news. I think the WP article should be replaced when I get finished with this one...we'll see. It may be ok to fork/update sports and movie articles if we change the titles, leads and short descriptions - those articles are mostly factual info. JP needs to eventually stop forking WP because those forks don't show up in Google searches – they are tied up financially somehow with WP. For JP to survive, we need different titles, different short descriptions, and different article leads and all, or we get buried. Face-wink.svgEdSmithton 📲 08:09, 4 September 2024 (AST)
Unfortunately, people still stick to Wikipedia to get latest updates and information on any given topic and they'd just skip Justapedia altogether as the latter is not up to date enough. Unless there's a situation which result in the public abandoning Wikipedia for somewhere else (which is similar to the exodus of users from Digg to Reddit back in the old days), such as the publication of Jennsaurus' feature article regarding Wikipedia's sexual harassment and stalking scandals against women and government employees.— Ron Merkle (talk) 14:35, 4 September 2024 (AST)
@Ron Merkle:, and I'm pinging @Justme:, too because I'm mentioning her. Look at the fine print at the very bottom of our pages. Our main page shows: This page has been accessed 408,880 times. We recently got that feature, so the count is lower than what it should read. Yeah, people read WP because of Google, but don't be fooled by their numbers. They have hundreds of bots hitting those pages multiple times/day, and AI is training their learning machines using WP, not to mention their own editors hitting those pages daily, plus the use of semi-bots, talk pages, noticeboards, etc. Actual readers for en.WP is waaay down. Plus those numbers also include all the language encyclopedias - we just have the English Justapedia, but we are growing. See User talk:Atsme, (who is also Justme here), and click on the piratewars link put there by Sandy Georgia.
People read garbage and the WOKE believe what they read because most don't know American history, and they removed Civics from our schools. Most don't even know what the Electoral College is, or that the US is not a democracy - it's a Republic, dammit. Democracy is 3 wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner - it's also like WP consensus - it's all a fraud so that their bullies can run things, not the people. They make the decisions for us - we are their free slave labor. In the US, Bill Ayers (Obama admin) was overseeing our public school curriculum - it was part of the communist strategy to dumb down America - Weather Underground - his commie wife, Bernardine Dohrn, is even teaching at Columbia U., and received top honors. Kathy Boudin is teaching there, and so is Jennifer Dohrn. Read this article. They succeeded for the most part. Justapedia is the only viable counter to Wikipedia's lies and disinformation, and that's why I'm here doing what I feel is my part to save the country, maybe even the world, from global communism. Interesting - so is that piratewires article. — GracieCasey (talk) 10:10, 6 September 2024 (AST)
That's not to mention that the Russian and Chinese influence operations are now on primetime news already. At the former, the FBI mentioned that they have a list of 2,800 so-called influencers who are on Kremlin payroll.— Ron Merkle (talk) 11:20, 6 September 2024 (AST)
Yeppers, Ron & Ed. We're surrounded, as if communism has proven to be a better alternative than what made America the greatest country on earth! I don't get it. We not only have Chinese spies in high places, we've got Americans promoting communism, including the Biden Admin, not to mention the ones who are currently running. We have communist propaganda in our ivy league schools, and the CCP has been buying them off left and right, (Harvard, Yale, etc.) along with most of mainstream media. Just look at the following:
  1. 2023 - Chinese spying from Cuba
  2. 2023 - Biden admin tries to hide spying
  3. 2023 - two US Navy ops transmitting info to China
  4. 2024 - Cuomo in NY
  5. 2024 - former aide to 2 US Governors
  6. 2024 - List_of_Chinese_spy_cases_in_the_United_States_of_America – needs to be updated
  7. 2024 - NY spy
It's everywhere - Biden was an easy target. If Kamala is elected, she will open the front door to them to become another rich, paid-off politician living in an oceanfront mansion like Obama, enjoying the easy life. America better wake-up, or we're going to be owned by the CCP. And guess who they'll target first? Ask yourselves how many LGBTQ communities are in China or Russia or Cuba? In retrospect, are y'all old enough to remember WWII, and how Japanese immigrants and even Japanese Americans were treated (some of whom are family by marriage via my paternal cousin)? They were gathered up and placed into internment camps. Back then, we were far more protective of our nation, probably to the extreme. Just look at what's happening today with all the Chinese communists and spies that were allowed into our country, and how thoroughly the US has been infiltrated (including our Ivy League universities & govt.) Do you think the Chinese govt. or Russia would stand for that in the reverse? Justme 💬 📧 15:14, 6 September 2024 (AST)
