I'm Shahadat Hossain, a passionate contributor from Bangladesh with a background in Textile Engineering. My journey into web development began during my teenage years, sparked by a deep curiosity for how collaborative digital platforms function — especially open-source systems like MediaWiki. I’ve always been drawn to platforms that prioritize transparency, neutrality, and accessibility — true sources of knowledge that empower global understanding. That pursuit led me to discover Justapedia, where I had the opportunity to connect with its founder, Betty Wills. Inspired by her vision, I found my place in a community committed to preserving and expanding free, open, and reliable knowledge. Since joining in 2023, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting Justapedia’s mission through technical contributions, interface enhancements, and community collaboration.

As an active Administrator, Interface administrator, Checkuser, I support site integrity, help users, and enhance editorial tools and templates. Additionally, I’m honored to be a member of the Community Board of Trustees (BoT). In this role, I support editorial integrity, assist in high-level conduct matters, oversee admin appointments, and help guide the community in collaboration with the Foundation’s executive committee.

🔧 Tools I’ve Built

• Citation Creator – A custom tool I developed for Justapedia to simplify and standardize citation formatting across articles. This utility helps users easily generate properly formatted references with minimal effort, supporting the platform’s goal of reliable sourcing and clean article structure.

🤖 Bot Accounts

• Shahadat (bot) – Automates categorization, formatting, script testing, batch editing and routine maintenance
• Cleanup Bot – Standardizes templates and improves consistency across pages
