The Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, often known simply as Suntec, is a convention centre located in the Central Area of Singapore. Located within Suntec City, it was opened on 30 August 1995, and has a total floorspace of 42,000 m2 (450,000 sq ft).[1][2] The building was renovated from October 2012 to June 2013.[3]

Events

The centre has hosted multiple local and international events. In August 2010, it served as a venue for the Youth Olympic Games, hosting events including Boxing, Fencing, Handball, Judo, Taekwondo and Wrestling.[4] In December 2021, it also served as the venue for the M3 World Championship, the third edition of the Mobile Legends World Championships, the biggest and most prestigious tournaments for the game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. In 2022, the centre is also one of the two locations (the other being the Singapore Indoor Stadium) for Dota 2's The International event.

The centre has also hosted trade shows and events, such as the International Dental Exhibition and Meeting, the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Congress, and the IFLA World Library and Information Congress.[5][6][7]
