Wedgefishes are rays of the family Rhinidae, comprising eleven species in three genera.^[1]^[2]^[3] Classified in the order Rhinopristiformes along with guitarfishes and sawfishes, they have also been known as giant guitarfishes or sharkfin guitarfishes.
